The First Half of My Journey
I’ll begin with what led to me beginning this journey. I’ve eaten very unhealthy for the last 10 years-greasy fried foods, over eating, eating late at night, and drinking many sodas every day. My habits were so bad that I blinded myself to the effect these foods and drinks were having on me. It was a complete downward spiral. It wasn’t only the food, but what led me to this food-stress, boredom, and simple love for food. I reached 228lbs at one point. I was disappointed in any photos of myself with family or friends. I wasn’t fit like I was when I was 19. Now 35, I knew I needed to change some things so I could feel good about myself again.
I spent months researching and educating myself with nutrition, exercise, and peptide research education. Once I gathered everything I learned, I created myself a very detailed 12-week fitness and lifestyle plan. I told myself, “THIS is where it starts.”
I started on October 27th, 2025 with the mindset that I will follow this plan and nothing else. No one or nothing will distract me or prevent me from doing this. It’s me versus me. At the start of this plan I weighed in at 221.6lbs with 30.3% body fat. At the end of week 6 I lost 24.4lbs and down to 26.2% body fat.
The first 2 weeks were rough, fighting craving and getting past the laziness, but I fought through it. I started feeling better mentally around week 3. And week 4 is when I started noticing my pants were starting to feel a bit looser. Week 5 and 6 is where I noticed my stomach slimming a lot, my arms, shoulders, and chest started looking fuller, leaner, and more muscular. Mentally and physically I already feel so much improvement.
I’m on track to meet my goal weight of 190lbs by the end of my 12-week plan. Once you get past the breaking point (First 2 weeks), it gets much easier. I’ve become addicted to it once I started seeing the results from all of my hard work and dedication. I went as far as getting certified as a Wellness Coach by NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine).
Now, as I continue my journey, I want to help you begin yours. I’m dedicated to helping you reach your goals just as I am reaching mine. This is the end of this blog for my 6-week update. The next blog will be at the end of my 12-week journey and I can’t wait to share my results!
